Welcome to Investigators 3 – class teacher, Niamh Anderson

Investigators 3 is a dynamic and supportive class for learners in key stage 3. Our learners access a broad and balanced curriculum that links to their personal development and the world around them, while ensuring learning is practical, engaging, and meaningful to each individual.

Learners work towards Unit Awards that celebrate their achievements in a wide range of subjects and life skills. Learning takes place both in the classroom and across different areas of the school; including the food technology room, and outdoor learning spaces. Communication, independence, and social development are at the heart of everything we do.

Each day provides a balance of structured lessons, practical tasks, sensory regulation opportunities, and community-based learning. Learners are encouraged to make choices, work collaboratively, and take pride in their progress. Through our themed curriculum, learners explore topics that connect learning across subjects, helping them to build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and prepare for future learning and independence.
