In Discoverers 4, we start each day with our personal care routines and sensory diet, which helps us prepare for learning.
Our lessons cover all areas of the curriculum and are designed to be fun, sensory and hands-on, giving us lots of opportunities to learn through play and engaging experiences. We work throughout the day on developing our independence, turn-taking, and communication skills.
Our classroom also has a fantastic outdoor area where we can play, explore, and continue our learning, and we love spending time on the bikes and outdoor trampoline too. We like to visit the sensory room and soft play for regulation breaks and look forward to Friday theme day activities where we explore a different theme weekly in various parts of the school with other classes.
