In Investigators 1, we begin each day with sensory regulation. Many of our learners follow an individual sensory diet and take part in activities and strategies that help them feel calm, settled, and ready to learn.
We then enjoy breakfast together, followed by our good morning routine, during which we continually develop our communication skills and explore French in a meaningful and engaging way.
Our learning is delivered through a sensory-based curriculum, where we learn through fun, practical, hands-on experiences. By using all of our senses, we support the development, understanding and awareness of the world around us.
We access playtime three times a day, giving learners opportunities to explore and enjoy the school playground. We also really enjoy our Friday theme days, when we explore and make use of the wider school facilities.
