Congratulations to our Upper 2 teacher Mrs Metters-McIntyre, who has recently qualified as a Thrive licensed practitioner.
Thrive is a therapeutic approach that supports children with emotional and social development, helping to build positive relationships between children and their peers. It supports with exploration and understanding of feelings through a variety of activities. The approach also supports staff in understanding how to promote positive mental health and respond to differing situations and individuals who may be distressed.
The knowledge gained by Mrs Metters-McIntyre throughout the course will help support our students and benefit our whole academy community. Well done on this fabulous achievement.
