Why did you become a governor?
My son is at a SEN school and I wanted to become a governor to support and challenge schools in meeting the needs of SEN children and that continuous improvements are considered.
How did you find out about the role?

What do you like about the role, and how do governors make a difference?
I enjoy understanding the operational aspects of the school, supporting the school from a parents perspective and building those key working relationships.
I have a BSc in Psychology and am completing in 2026 a MSc in Psychology and Learning Disabilities, as I have a strong desire to ensure that all SEND needs are met for all children and hopefully can bring something different to the role, from a psychological angle in terms of well being and mental health.
